My personal journey to the Orphans' Court
My decision to run for Orphans’ Court Judge comes from a combination of personal conviction, professional experience, and a lifelong belief that families deserve fairness, clarity, and dignity especially during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
My 20 years as an E-Discovery attorney taught me how to analyze complex records, evaluate evidence, and make decisions grounded in facts and law. As a former Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Small Business Administration during the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked with small businesses during a time of national crisis. From my work experiences, I learned the importance of: accuracy, fairness, and protecting people’s rights. These skills translate directly to probate work, where families depend on the court to ensure estates are handled properly and heirs especially minors and vulnerable individuals are protected.

A judge who listens with fairness and dignity
Serving as a sitting Orphans’ Court Judge has shown me firsthand how important this court is. Families come to us during moments of grief, transition, and uncertainty. They deserve a judge who: listens with fairness, explains the process clearly, applies the law consistently, and treats every person with dignity.
Strengthening protections for Anne Arundel County families
One of the most important roles of the Orphans’ Court is safeguarding the heirs who will inherit the estate. I want to strengthen that protection by: reviewing filings thoroughly and ensuring personal representatives meet their legal obligations. Families deserve confidence that their loved one’s legacy is being handled responsibly and fairly.
